We know a statement like this seems all too familiar lately, with prices increasing across multiple sectors in the UK. We’ve held our prices for as long as we could, but the same pressures hitting households are now feeding directly into what it costs us to make and deliver your orders. From 1st April 2026, we are sad to say that our prices will increase to accommodate these extra costs. This short post explains what’s changing, why, and how to keep your orders as cost-effective as possible.
What are the Reasons for the Price Increase?
In the last five years, we've had a two price increases due to the rising costs in the UK. Our most recent increase was in May 2025 and this was due to factors such as rising material costs, utilities, postage and packaging, and administration costs. Whilst these factors are behind the reasons for the upcoming price increase in April 2026, this has only been further amplified with the conflict in the middle east and costs associated with fuel and energy.
Whenever we are looking to increase our prices, this decision is not taken lightly. Our mission is to always remain as cost-effective and as competitive as possible for our customers to ensure we can deliver quality products at the lowest possible prices. However, this year our material suppliers have revealed that they are increasing their prices by a staggering 12%, therefore we have no option but to make this change, which we hope you will all understand.
How much will Prices Increase?
Taking into consideration the rise of costs, we have opted to rise our prices by 10% to aid with combating the additional costs we will need to cover to continue manufacturing your labels. Whilst we understand that this will impact our customers, we are hopeful that you will see this is an essential rise to cover costs, not one to increase profits.
Some regular customers may also notice that from 1st April 2026, we will be temporarily suspending our usual promotion of free standard delivery on all UK mainland orders above £40 + VAT. We know that this is a service that lots of our customers like to take advantage of, however due to our couriers adding temporary surcharges on parcels and additional percentages on fuel, this is an essential move to assure we can continue to offer delivery. Here at Flexi Labels, we do not profit on delivery, we only charge what is essential to get your labels to you.
How can I Make My Order Cost-Effective?
Despite the upcoming price increase, there are a few ways you can keep your orders as cost-effective as possible which we have outlined below:
1. Order in bulk as the more sheets or rolls you order, the lower the cost per unit is.
2. Make sure to place your orders with plenty of time to avoid the requirement to pay extra for more premium express delivery services. Instead, opt for our lowest cost option of a standard 3-5 working day delivery service.
3. If possible, consider collecting your order from us if you're local. At checkout you can select a 3-5 working day standard collection service to collect your items from us for free!
4. If ordering a printed order with multiple designs, make sure you add the total number of sheets or rolls as one item rather than multiple items to take advantage of the bulk discounts. (For sheets, you can add up to 10 artworks!!)
5. When shopping for sheet labels, consider looking at alternative sizes to see if you can increase the number of labels per sheet. This will reduce the number of sheets required, potentially saving you some money.
We hope this clarifies the reasons behind our upcoming price increase and helps you to keep your order costs as low as possible moving forward.
Thank you for working with us and for your understanding!
