Selvedge is a word used by some to describe a margin.
More commonly used in the textile industry, Selvedge is not a word we would commonly use with our adhesive products, but as we have heard this term used, it needed to be included in our Glossary.
In the textile industry, the true definition is 'an edge produced on woven fabric during manufacture to prevent it from unravelling'.
