Label Construction

A typical label consists of 3 components. 

A face material is supported by the liner with special adhesive in the middle

1. Face Material

Woodfree white material smoothed paper, with a high degree of whiteness. FSC Certified.

2. Adhesive

General purpose permanent acrylic water based adhesive. Good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, including non-polar surfaces. Good behaviour at low temperatures.

The research centre ISEGA has given the adhesive P1000 approval according to the European requirements for direct contact with dry and moist, non-fatty foodstuffs and compliance with the FDA, 21 CFR Ch.I (April 1, 2013 edition) 175.105 for direct contact with dry foodstuffs or they must be separated from the foodstuffs by a functional barrier.

3. Release Liner / Backing

Bleached Kraft paper, coated on one side and treated on the back.

Uses & Application

Typical use - Office

Suitable for various printing systems and laser printers. Testing for suitability between media, printers, inks is always recommended prior to use. 

Shelf Life

2 years, under storage conditions as defined by FINAT section 2.5 (20-25ºC, 40-50% RH) Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and/or humidity levels will shorten the shelf life of the product.
