Happy Diwali from Flexi Labels
"Deepavali" or "Diwali" is the "Festival of Lights," a five-day festival celebrated by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, and some Buddhists, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Celebrated in the Autumn, between October and November, it is marked by illuminating homes with oil lamps called 'diyas,' exchanging gifts and sweets, and performing religious worship.
This year, Diwali is celebrated today, 20th October and here at Flexi Labels we created a very special label to celebrate. Printed on our Semi Gloss Paper material, we utilised our Spot UV Special finish to really make the colours and the design pop. In the background, of course we had to light our Diwali inspired candle to truly get in the spirit of the Festival of Lights.
