Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is a Mexican holiday that celebrates and remembers deceased loved ones.

It is believed that the souls of the dead return to visit their families on November 1st and 2nd, and people honor them by creating altars with their favorite foods and drinks, decorating graves, and sharing memories and stories. The celebration combines ancient Aztec traditions with Spanish Catholic influences, viewing death as a continuation of life and treating it with a festive, non-fearful attitude.

To mark the occasion, we created some Day of the Dead inspired custom die cut stickers on our Matt White Vinyl material. We then arranged them on a bed of colorful flowers to symbolise the cempasúchil petals used by those who celebrate the occasion. These are the bright orange marigold petals that create a spiritual pathway for deceased loved ones during the Day of the Dead celebrations.

Why not have a go at illustrating your very own Day of the Dead inspired artwork? You can then upload to our website when placing an order and we will print these onto any label size you like!!
